MUSE STUDIO by teresa

My love for photography and visual storytelling was shaped early on by two deeply creative souls - my father, an artist and carpenter, and my mother, a quiet poet and passionate gardener. Our home was filled with inspiration: my dad’s art adorned the walls, and my mother’s words were tucked into journals I’d quietly discover. As a child, I was captivated by books, film, and writing - always chasing stories, always drawn to the magic they held. I was especially fascinated by old photographs, their stillness somehow alive with untold history.

It wasn’t until after I had my daughter that I picked up a camera. What started as a hobby grew naturally through word of mouth, and eleven years ago, Muse was born. Photography has become the most powerful way for me to live inside stories - to slip into other worlds, witness other lives, and freeze fleeting moments in a way that feels like a gift.

I have always loved the editing process - not just the capturing of the image, but the quiet, meditative work that comes after. Editing is where the story deepens, where mood and meaning come alive through tone, texture, and light. It’s a form of storytelling all its own - intuitive, immersive, and incredibly rewarding.

"How wonderful to be who I am, made out of earth and water, my own thoughts, my own fingerprints — all that glorious, temporary stuff."
